All of these "appear" to be bolted down. Let's hope they used gorilla glue and welded them down.

do these idiots think because there is no work sign everyone won't eventually find out who is doing the work?

These people are trying to tear down 100 year old statues? Aren't they on the historic registry or something?
shite, if a house is 100+ years old don't they have to keep the outside in it's original condition in order to renovate it?

City Park already looks like shite. It's going to be even more dull after the statue is removed.

Maybe we can put a statue up of Martin Luther King Jr., or some other a-hole who cheated on his wife and did drugs constantly.

This is what makes me shake my head. You have to go around the world and suck a dozen dicks to renovate a dilapidated 100+ year old house in NO, but these are considered nuisances.

They are going to replace it with a statue of Looty, so it won't be so dull.

10 million.
I'll take them, build a new park, and put them there instead. Win win.

The removal doesn't bother me that much. It is dumb, but whatever.
What is really going to piss me off is the cheesedick modern replacements that will surely have some sort of symbolic aesthetic no one would understand without having the artist tell you exactly what he was thinking.
Odds are they will look turrible.

....and then it's all bullshite that only the artist and the artist's pretentious, sycophantic, condescending patrons could "poooooooossibly understand...."

I have a good feeling I will know the meaning of the replacements without having the artist tell me. Hint: frick white people.
