How would you reckon a fish would free itself from an aquarium
No all aquariums have tops. If the outside water rises to a level above the glass, the aquatic life would be able to swim higher than the glass that once held them in.

The aquarium didn’t flood.

Don’t fall in Bayou St John, though. The escaped piranhas have been breeding like mofos.

Paradise Island’s Open Air Aquarium in the Bahamas says otherwise.

I can confirm that the monkeys escaped from the Zoo and they all asked for you.
They even inquired about ya.

Even if the aquarium did flood, you're looking at needing how high of water to reach the top of those tanks? 20 ft? 30 ft? I don't know. It seems like a pretty ridiculous proposition.

I’m guessing the water filtration and aeration pumps lost power and the water quality dropped below survivable levels

Yeah that and it got hot as hell in there

I always heard a lone tarpon survived.... but that was it.

The important ones survived.

"Midas, the infamous 250-pound sea turtle, survived and has been coaxed into the holding area in the Gulf of Mexico Exhibit," the association said.

That's the one where a shark jumped into the slide and died.

I was roommates with one of her many brothers for a while in college. He didn’t really care too much for people asking about his sister.

Scooba would know for sure. If I’m not mistaken he dives over there from time to time.

I was talking about megashark vs crockosaurus

The better story is the Gulfarium in Biloxi that got wiped out.
