Didn't see any specifics mentioned.

I would imagine that it's a per se violation of the union collective bargaining agreement so multiple federal law violations.

Thx. Hope someone runs with this quickly before he accelerates removing the rest.

Can a FOIA request be submitted to City Hall? Particularly for email.

There should be a race to see who can break this wide open.

Lee Zurik has to be on it. This is right up his alley.

Bet any direct orders were only given verbally. But those would be considered vital records. FOIA should be crafted to force an answer to verbal orders directing use of NOFD personnel

This. I bet the guts of the situation were all backroom deals without a paper trail.

But remember as a city employee (NOFD) I believe it's against the city charter and or the law to do business with City for personal gain. So even if the firefighters had a side job as monument removers, they should have been ruled ineligible to be hired.

Bingo, this is the type of crap that Ray N. did. Turn up the heat and the birds will sing.

I'm thinking quid pro quo. Mitch gets them to take down the monuments and guarantees a way to get the NOFD their owed money.

If that was the case then why would the Union be holding a press conference outing their participation? Unless that was just a scam press conference. Felton has been pushing for NOFD money for years
