Im pretty sure you are allowed to discriminate based on attire
I see signs everywhere that say no shirt, no shoes, no service. I have even seen signs that say "no sagging pants"

So are we just going to ignore the fact that her attire was indeed very inappropriate for a restaurant?

An absolute shame that this is what our country has become. Could not feel worse for Erin and her husband. They are wonderful people who have worked extremely hard to make their restaurant successful only to have it likely fold at the hands of the almighty race card
As a small business owner, this is one of our biggest fears. With social media and other avenues for 'reviewing' businesses, one bad review can be devastating.

The dangers of living in a country where not everyone shares the same values. It will continue to get worse the more people give into it.

Wonder if it would help to be proactive.
If you have to kick out a bunch of ratchet bitches, for example, get plenty of video evidence of what they were doing, call police, trespassing charges, etc.
Sure, it would make for a shitty night, but might set the tone.

Cameras are inexpensive, easy to install and virtually unnoticeable these days. If I owned a small business every inch of it would be covered by a camera.

if this scenario would not be so detrimental to small business, this would be comical.
first of all, the capitalization of the B in black is ridiculous. maybe i need to follow the lead of this nice bikini-clad woman and start seeing a shrink over this. I feel belittled over the minimization of white (no capitol W).
if this chick cannot figure out that this is not proper attire for dinner, then she will live a life of disappointment while blaming the Man for keeping her down.
the cops were called because a few adults started a "verbal altercation", not for the outfit.
the article jumps from describing this situation to the george floyd drug olympics case. how in the flying F did the "reporter" make that jump? i would have written about this story in one sentence, "hey sanai, stop being a trash bag!"
i hope that this restaurant owner sues for legal bills in this case and wins. even though in the city of NO there is probably no way a judge is that logical.
i cannot believe that i just spent 5 minutes of my life reading and typing about this story.

I noticed that too absolutely ridiculous.
What a waste of time and money this court case will be for this business owner.
Everything you hate about New Orleans is because of black people.

This douche bag is considered a "reporter?" Talk about a hit piece against the owners. Here are the headline and a part from the opening paragraph.
Then it took until the middle of the article to write the ACTUAL reason why the cops were called.
Notice how he puts the owner's statements in quotes but leaves the shitmutts' statements without to indicate that those are the facts.
Who is this racist dipshit that's writing manipulative articles in an attempt to rile up the race mobs and to damage the reputation of innocent small business owners trying to protect their business and customers?

That's a very punchable face. Propogandists like this a-hole are the reason we have so much strife in this country.

managers called police after objecting to a bikini top that her daughter was wearing.

the restaurant’s management said it only called the police on the night in question to ensure customers’ safety during “a verbal altercation” involving “three disruptive, adult patrons.”
