I do however, think they are immature college students and thus did not comprehend at the moment what ramifications the picture could have had.
Audie Murphy was 19 when he single handedly held off an entire company of German soldiers in France and then led a counterattack while wounded and out of ammunition.
Immature college students is a pathetic way to describe graduating officers in the United States Army. Just sad if true.

Well just being black in an all black group has political implications doesn't it? Or just being black period based on the responses in the initial topic.

What ramifications did they not comprehend exactly?

So basically he is saying West Point cadet graduates are mouth breathing morons who don't know what a raised first means while segregating themselves in an all black photo.
Well our governer is a graduate so there's precedent.

Perhaps they should be commended for correctly anticipating a complete lack of ramifications. At least they aren't pissing against the wind like all of us rubes.

I only meant two or more black people standing together make a "group". Not that they have officially segregated groups. I'm unaware of they do.

what a bunch of pussies West Point's admin have become.

If you honestly thought a group of blacks was going to be singled out for punishment, you are a bona fide cisgender retard.

How are you sure that Audie Murphy did something unbecoming while in the Army?
You wouldn't say they are going to fail in the Army? I'm sure they will be given every chance to ensure that is correct.

I am completely fine with black cadets naturally hanging out with other black cadets. There is nothing wrong with that. Posing in a photo with a symbol known for Black Power is a disgrace to the uniform they are wearing. And for you to disagree with that is actually demeaning towards black people IMHO.

The government is racist, we already know this. If white girls were proud of their race and took a picture of it they would be expelled. Just like if I was a black female I would be in med school, probably on a schlolarship. Or if I started my own business as a native american female and got all the minority bids. Some people have it easier

Well to be fair, I'd probably be a mediocre black person like I'm a mediocre white person. Speaking for myself.
I'd be overweight fa sho.

Right. I imagine after 4 years of being treated like the doubly special students that they are, they felt pretty safe in their actions.

There is nothing like getting cut open by a a mediocre doctor who is there for diversity. And this isn't a knock against black female doctors, just at the system that allows for mediocrity based on race.

The real problem is that they're women, not black. Those chicks are a complete waste of taxpayer money.
Posted on 5/10/16 at 10:04 pm to Charlie Arglist
They fricked up the symmetry by not having the ones to the right, stage left, hold up their left hand like swords woman and the woman to her left. They had the perfect number, they just planned poorly.
These are group of very successful black women and I have no problem with their, 'frick Yea we made it, I'm black and I'm proud!' statement.

Why not
"frick yea we made it, I'm a West Point graduate and an officer in the United States Army! statement?"
