You got to nap mid-day all the time, grown-up; while locked up on felony charges.

Mom continued to say that her kids, including her 11-month-old, went to sleep for a nap. When the baby’s father woke up, Neveah was missing. The 11-month-old is safe. She says she was wearing a yellow dress with pineapples when she last saw her.

Long nap while watching a 2 year old

is there an acceptable amount of time to nap while watching a toddler? I mean this upsetting but what are people doing taking naps watching 2 year olds.

Let’s get real. You don’t take a nap when you are caring for a 2 year old. Period. This is his fault.

I’m assuming you don’t have children?

I have children. I never once fricking napped when they were 2 unless the 2 year old was napping with me in my arms or in their crib napping where they couldn’t get out while also having the monitor nearby

Napping while they are awake and mobile is ridiculous parenting. It’s the same as when you go to sleep at night. You have to make this situation impossible to happen

No comments yet on the child's name being "Heaven" backwards. Little disappointed in the OT.

How did that man sleep and not check on a 2 year old & 11 month old for over 3 hours?

I think we know why…

What's wrong with napping while your child does?

You sleep at night when they do.

You just have to make sure the environment is safe, which as a parent you should already do. I deadbolt all the doors and take the keys out so my 3 year old doesn't escape.

Side note, unrelated, but funny. We are on Covid quarantine and he was pissed at me for being on a work call the other day. So he took his bathroom stool outside, opened the gate, and proceeded to just walk into the front yard. I have a strict no front yard without an adult policy because he doesn't pay attention to cars.

That’s all he had to do.

Napping while a two year old is unsupervised and mobile around the house is incredibly negligent

This should be common sense and, if a parent doesn’t agree with this and do the same thing, your children should be taken away for their safety.
