I’m no apologist for Cantrell, but she doesn’t take office for another few weeks. Also, she actually campaigned on getting rid of traffic cameras. We’ll see... I’m not holding my breath.

I can't tell you why the cameras malfunctioned in this way, or if it was accidental.

What I can tell you with 100% certainty is that if any owner of a vehicle that's been ticketed in that way is willing to pay the fine, the city will gladly take their money, legitimate or not.

The purpose of the cameras has always been to raise money for the city, by hook or by crook.

I got one of those before, just don’t pay it. frick the city of New Orleans
