I work a solid number of hours but I don’t qualify as it particularly stressful. I work hard, do what I can, take things seriously, but there’s a ton I can’t control, so whatever. I get to give my opinion on risk I feel exists and the people above me can listen or ignore. So be it.

I’d call it a 30-40. And perfectly acceptable compared to my compensation. I’m paid well, so some modest stress and some extra hours is a reasonable trade off

Mentally: 25. There's no challenges right now.
Physically: 10 (Hard to stay awake)
Emotionally: 90 (if giving a damn matters because the work doesn't matter)
Stressfully: 90 (when you feel as if what you do doesn't matter...it can be stressful)

My uncle is well known in field, lost one patient during surgery in 45 years of practice. Taught at LSU dental school for years as well. His stress has never been due to his career.

Currently, probably a 45. It can get up to maybe a 65 or 70 at times, maybe as low as a 30-35 in certain seasons. It’s pretty awesome. I really enjoy my current job and the company for whom I work.

Commercial Construction Project Manager. 110 and it’s not even close. Everything is your fault, there is never enough time in the day, unrealistic deadlines, constant confrontation and arguing, and everyone is out to screw over everyone. You live in a high intensity stressful environment on repeat 24/7. It never stops.

25. I'm an architect. The pay is poor, but the pacing is reasonable once you understand what you're doing and the work is something I enjoy and have wanted to do since childhood.

Mine is low and would be nonexistent if the idiots I work with wouldn't wait until the last minute to ask me for things. I am not hard to find.

Not enough time in the day to get work done
Phone calls from customers constantly

A solid 99 for mental stress. Not too many careers involve another party actively trying to make you fail, while you try to succeed. Imagine a surgeon trying to save an injured patient, while someone is trying equally as hard to kill the patient. Then experience that stress in over 60, 70 or over 100 actives case. And likely just like a surgeon, your client will NEVER be completely happy, and may occasionally sue you.

Physically, I would rate it about a 5 due to the effects of sitting way too long everyday.

Emotionally, I would put it at about a 5. After all, there is always booze.

It's not that bad lmao

Just diagnosed with the below. Pretty stressful career, especially during COVID. Oh, and I'm alpha AF according to medical diagnosis below. So come at me, bro.

Who is at risk for central serous chorioretinopathy?

Men in their 30s to 50s are more likely to develop central serous chorioretinopathy than women. Stress is a major risk factor. People under a lot of stress may be more likely to develop central serous chorioretinopathy.
Other causes:
Type A behavior (aggressive and competitive behavior)
