I don't give a frick if he was my boss or not, he would only send some stupid shite to my or family member's house one time. Assuming he did it unprovoked and he was targeting my family just because of me, it wouldn't fly. I would go straight to his higher ups first and hope they take care of it, if not then threaten him.
