I dont understand they allure of climbing mountains like this
Plenty of mountains out there with straightforward climbs to the summit where you still get great pictures for likes and view on your insta

All these guys, like Alex Honnold, and others are addicted to that dopamine rush. But no matter how technically skilled you are, outside circumstances can end it if you tempt fate enough times.

Seems like he's more "addicted" to the "flow state" and perfection in general. That feeling of being able to do something extremely hard with little effort. It actually doesn't seem like his brain pumps much adrenaline at all. He's always about as cool as a cucumber when you see him free soloing.
