How about the 'Canes but have it be Sugarcane. Their mascot could look like the Stanford Tree mascot.

I was there when they got rid of the old mascot. I'm not sure who had the bright idea to make the new mascot an SS clone, but at least we're not the Rebels with a bear mascot.

nicholls is in a perfect place. Handles everyone in the south on the bayou. Not everyone wants to pack up and move to go to college.

We cannot afford to continue funding all of these universities. The max public universities we should have in this state is 4. Period.
