"toddler on floor of Rouses
So I'm at Rouses late last night, masked and gloved, standing with mostly others who are masked ( one older gentleman- you know who you are) and I see a young father with his toddler, neither are masked or gloved, and the toddler is playing with small stuffed animals while crawling on the floor. Have you not seen the small kids in ICU on the news? Why are you bringing a child to the store anyway? And what about the rest of us? I find it un American- yes, I wrote that, to jeopardize other people who mean you no harm ( the masks, remember) , let alone a child. The toddler put back the stuffed animals ( which other people will touch) and got in line with his father right behind another person ( wearing a mask) . Good thing the rest of us are mindful of your health . Smoking, a known cancer cause, is outlawed in public spaces as second hand smoke is a proven problem. Can you really be sure that you are not shedding virus, as symptoms may not show up for several days after contact? And how about the workers in the store?
Call for curbside pickup next time, if not wearing a mask is that important to you.
Like ration cards in WW2, wearing a mask is a small price , a welcome burden to protect the frontline troops, our medical personnel. It's not a political statement, but it is patriotic."
Thank you, Mandeville.

Letting a kid crawling around on the nasty floor of a grocery store is pretty trashy tbh.

When I see someone without a mask, we usually just give eachother the head nod and go about our business. While... Keeping our distance.

Agreed but it's not like the kid is broadcasting Chinavirus everywhere.

It's outlawed in private spaces. I can stand on the sidewalk and blow smoke in your fricking face if I want.
Scratch that, I know in areas of Cali you can't be on the beach side and smoking. But still.

I do this, only to not be recognized by anyone and have to spend half the trip talking to people. It's been kind of a fantasy of mine for years to be able to do this and not have more attention drawn in the process..

I thought about this earlier. What's the protocol on alcohol? Anyone been asked to unmask for the ID check?

A co-worker alluded to drinking and driving being the same thing as not wearing a mask. Our conversation was over at that point.

Today on my ND app, a guy posted a pic of something that was left on his doorstep. There was a lot of speculation about whether it was a dog toy or a bath bomb. Twenty responses later, Karen said that it was a painted rock like the ones her kids have been making and leaving on neighbors’ doorsteps. He was told that he was the blessed recipient of a similar painted rock.

Doing their part by spreading the virus with stupid painted rocks no wants from their COVID-19 carrying, nasty children. Thanks a lot. You have to waste a glove to carry it to the trash.

They need to track that bitch down and weld the doors and windows shut to her house.- For her own safety and the betterment of mankind.

Someone should tell these fools that Covid-19 isn’t absorbed through the skin.

I thought of this as well. My beard sticks out of a mask if I wear one, so I just assume they see it and they never ask.

I just check my ND. First thing pops up:

Beware the Great Greek opposite Orchard Mall
When I picked up my order from the Great Greek across from Orchard Mall, the man preparing the food was not wearing a mask. This is totally unacceptable!
