Grace said it was surreal to be meeting up with Ansari, a successful comedian and major celebrity, and she was “excited” for their date.

These women only date these dudes because they are famous and then cry wolf later. She was using him to be seen and get free dinner, she even took a picture of the dinner (will never understand this).

I missed the part where she told him no and either told him to take her home or that she'd get an uber and leave.

It's a good thing I am not famous, my life would have been ruined.

Her text message read like all of it was planned out.

"You ignored my non-verbal cues."

"My only hope is that you don't do this to the next woman."

It reads like one of Jessica Valenti's feminist bullshite columns.

if this is sexual assault, everybody is guilty of sexual assault

it is at the point that real sexual assault victims need to speak out against this bullshite because these types of stories are diminishing very real issues

Thankfully I've seen a number of lib writers responding negatively to this

Biggest crime committed was the 13 year old boy polo shirt Aziz wore on the date. Probably wore cargo shorts too.

I'm happy to see that. Made the mistake of reading about this on the AV Club earlier and was shocked that almost all of the commentary was in support of the woman's perspective on it all. I felt like I had taken crazy pills with how people were defending her and calling Aziz a predator.

Here is a well thought out article by a liberal female writer who is defending Aziz and calling out priveledged white women for not having the courage to stand up for themselves.

Almost all the good writers and posters have left the AVClub. It’s a shell of its former self.

yea I'm sure she was terrified of the wrath of Aziz...he is renowned for his rage, overpowering strength, and influence in Hollywood.

These claims are getting more and more dubious.

She wanted affection, kindness, attention. Perhaps she hoped to maybe even become the famous man’s girlfriend. He wasn’t interested. What she felt afterward—rejected yet another time, by yet another man—was regret. And what she and the writer who told her story created was 3,000 words of revenge porn. The clinical detail in which the story is told is intended not to validate her account as much as it is to hurt and humiliate Ansari. Togethe, the two women may have destroyed Ansari’s career, which is now the punishment for every kind of male sexual misconduct, from the grotesque to the disappointing.

Boom.
