I’m telling you dude. I could believe it either. I have the screen grabs. I’m sure some people would freak tho.

That was easily high enough to break your neck. We were morons. Usually drinking back there too.

What am I looking at here? The red was the young man and some sort of creature/mass near him?

I've been looking at these myself. You can see something come up behind him and grab his right foot and something comes from the front of him toward his right arm. Horrible.

If you watch the video frame by frame it is pretty clear there was something in the water with him.

Jesus. I don't have the stomach (or the technical knowledge) to watch a kid be taken by a shark or sharks. It's insane to me that this happened IRL to an actual person that many people knew. How very sad. I cannot imagine knowing my child was killed by sharks.

Why does anyone want to see a video of that boy dying?? Seriously, I want y’all to respond with reasons why it made your life better to have seen a video of a teenager dying.

Granted the kid was stupid as F and was perhaps a Darwin Award winner, but why does anyone want to see it happening??

Im not able to lighten the video but is it supposed to be a shark on the left side of the screen in the beginning? The area is easily lighter than the surrounding area but it could also be a swell

Why are you putting effort into inhancing a video where an 18 year old kid dies?? No judgement, I just want to know why it’s important for you to see the sharks ir whatever??

Did any of the kids/witnesses on the boat talk about sharks attacking him?

If it’s visible from a grainy video, then surely the dozens of witnesses would’ve seen it in real-time.

I don't want to see a video of that kid dying but I think people would like to know what happened. Sharks, currents, accidental drowning etc.

Natalee Holloway's family has been searching for the cause of her death for almost 20 years.

A lot of people have morbid curiosities, liveleak was extremely popular for a long time.

1000% not the same thing, knowing how your child died and having internet sleuths broadcasting the death on message boards is not the same thing.

I just found the video on redditt. It looks like he was going to swim to the life ring. Im not sure if he saw it, but there was something you could see, but it was a split second. I can only assume a shark. I can only imagine 5 mins after the point you can see him in the video anymore he was dead. I hope the young man didn't suffer.
