A lot of cars don’t have USB-C which the new phones use. Who knows.

I have had a charging cable fail on me in the car infinitely more times than I have been shot in my car going the other direction from the shooter at over 150ft.

Yea. The shooter is a nutter and probably going to jail. But as we have seen so many times before. Wait until the whole story is told.
There are a couple of what the hells from the driver. Door Dashing and no phone charger? A cigarette charger is $9 on Amazon or Walmart. Drove himself home after stopping to charge his phone to call and say he was shot?

Not only that, but the state is powerless to make him resign or to even suspend him because of what looks like an attempted homicide, although I haven't seen any charges.

I'm not seeing any possible way to justify this. The driver was backing away and leaving.
Seems like he shot at him, because he honked his horn? Could have even been an accident. Wasn't much of a honk.
