The Trace is a Bloomberg-funded gun-control group, their data is nothing to put any trust in. They will count shootings involving BB guns (not firearms by ATF definition) and self-defense situations as criminal misuse.

I have seen on the social media’s that these kind of things will put certain types of people in a bad light to the public

Yeah I was briefly playing with it and I saw they had the home intrusion in river ridge like two years ago where the ex boyfriend broke in and the new man shot and killed him.

Seems to have jaded statistics.

It's actually not that bad. "War" is self explanatory and "istan" puts an appropriate Middle East twist to it that's indicative of areas or regions of people that never stop fighting and killing each other.

I assume they don't include demographics in those stats
