The funny thing is that most full-sized, 4 door trucks nowadays are used primarily as Family haulers & grocery getters, that never leave the pavement or haul more than a boat.
But….this is America. IMHO, I believe that if you can afford it, You can drive whatever the hell you want to, without being criticized.
For my needs…a late model Tundra or Tacoma would do perfectly.

Yea kinda lost me in the first 15 seconds of the video he described his 911 GT3RS, a car with a fricking gigantic wing and fender louvres, as sophisticated and and highbrow and that he could not tell the difference between it and a rental spec Hyundai.
I get sam hyde is a troll by trade but that was a little much lol.
You missed the bulk of the video.
He basically shite on interiors of supercars being almost essentially the same as high end domestic/foreign and that designers, mostly women, made all vehicles look like absolute dogshit.
Both of which I agree with.
His point was that both interiors of his GT3RS and a hyundai are equally plastic and have shitty soft plastic features everywhere.

The only reason I care is because it drives the market away from the type of truck I’d rather buy. I don’t really care that so many people use them as grocery getter family haulers.

His point was stupid because it’s not true lol.
Let me know the next time you’re in a new Porsche. There’s a minimal amount of plastic. Mostly leather/alcantara wrapped or carbon.

The heads of design and interior design specifically at Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini and Bugatti are all men. You swallowed the bait whole lol.

I don't understand the logic of buying a maverick(ford) when you could buy a santa cruz instead. They are pretty damn nice.

Why can't we just get a Toyota Hilux in the US? One of the top rated, best selling trucks in the world...except here.

When have the interiors of supercars ever been particularly nice though? Look at Lambo's interiors from 80's They are built for speed and performance. If you want high end luxury and comfort, get a Rolls Royce

Just give us the turbo diesel helix and crush the truck market.

New Bronco’s value is gonna crater not because of aesthetics but bc they are absolute trash for off-roading
They will stop making them when soccer moms stop buying them.

Full disclosure, I drove a Saturn Ion for 10 years.

Not quite lol. A 30k miler sold on carsandbids for like 32k a couple weeks ago.
I mean a new version of that truck would be $50k on the lot.

It's the same way with all the threads where everyone is like "give me a bare bones vinyl interior and they'd sell like hot cakes" except no one actually buys trucks like that. They have to be special ordered because the actual demand isn't there.
You are correct. On the current tundra, the SR (not sr5) is the base but you don’t even see many of them compared to the more luxury ones.
