I dont like it.

Doesnt look like a vette.

This shouldnt be a vette, this should be a super car like someone else said. Maintenance costs just went through the roof with the mid-engine.

Go look at the 812 super fast and tell me that doesn’t look like a corvette.

Just like most mid engine cars, there are very few people that are driving these every day. More like a $300 oil change once a year.

Oh and I love how they have 'spyshots' from inside the car

Eh, there’s only 1 or so gas stations at the Nurburgring so they all stop there to fill up.

But yeah, basically just a photo op.

Most owners will likely not be working on it anyway.

Cool thing will be if you opt for the twin turbos, a 100hp+ is only a tune away.

What everyone's failing to realize is that if you cross your eyes just right, you can see a sailboat.

Are you turning wrenches on your current front engine Corvette?

Still a chevy. They can rip off Ferrari all they want, it’ll never have the appeal of an Italian sports car.

And Ferrari is still a Fiat

Porsche is still a Volkswagon

etc

Chevrolet is not trying to be Ferrari, the mid-engine Corvette has been in the works for over 40years.

Point is, who fricking cares? True automotive enthusiasts appreciate a variety of cars, this car will be well received.

Same here. If you aren't wrenching on it, then you aren't driving it. There's always something to do.
