New regulation on mobile check deposits

apparently goes into effect October 1st. have to write "for mobile deposit at *insert bank name* only" on the back of every check. thats a damn hassel. my handwriting is shitty n large anyway they better increase the number of lines to endorse

Taking an extra 3 seconds to lower financial fraud seems fine to me. I have 0 outrage for this, again it'll take about 3 seconds to do.

Both my banks I've had to do this since I literally started mobil deposits whenever that was. I assumed it was normal honestly.

Chase has always said to sign the back and write those words I believe. I never have and they still accept my deposits.

You can buy a custom, pre-inked stamp for about 10 dollars if it makes it easier for you

That check deposit technology is at the point where it works without trouble like 99.5% of the time (especially Chase) is even better
