New orleans taxis. No uber

What is the best taxi co? The red ones seem like a shim sham.arent the supposed to have similar rates?

Your best option is whatever cab you can get to pick you up. If you're trying to call and wait for a cab, good luck.

When I went to Miami two weeks ago I didn't realize that uber wasn't allowed to pick us up from Fort Lauderdale airport, so the awful the cab ride from Fort Lauderdale to Miami beach was $125 partly bc the a-hole cabbie went the most crowded route possible.
on the way back ubers are allowed to return to the FLL airport so that fare was $35
Also on the way there the cabdriver was Muslim, smelled bad, and was an a-hole whereas every Uber driver in Miami Beach was Cuban pleasant an awesome

Used 4 for Garth. Pretty sure all were United. First time since threat of Uber. Very nice and price was less than $10 each time(2 miles or so each trip around cbd and fq)
