Going to be in New Orleans 20th-24th. It’s been quite a while since I’ve been there. I have already purchased tickets to the WWII Museum for that Tuesday. Looking for places to eat. Maybe a couple of places to visit.
1. Nice steakhouse
2. Good casual restaurant
3. Lunch spots
I appreciate any suggestions y’all may have.

Things to avoid:
Driving to Costco
Getting shot
Baw, tree fiddy, LucasP and frick OweO.

We like to joke about New Orleans but for the most part it’s all fun and games. Just remember, there is a decent chance you will die.

I'd stay at the Southern Hotel in Covington and just drive in to New Orleans for day trips.

For steak, it's hard to beat Gallagher's in Covington.

Parasols is still the poboy king.

La Boulangerie is a great place to go for a breakfast sandwich when you wake up hungover.

*** I meant Parkway. Sorry parasols is long gone. That's what I get for posting before I've had my coffee.

Stay as far away from New Orleans as possible.

Avoid all of Louisiana too.

1. Nice steakhouse
Crescent city steak house is a classic

2. Good casual restaurant
Not really casual you can get away with anything other than jeans or shorts:
1. Muriel’s
2. Mr. B’s

3. Lunch spots
Tracey’s is a great place to grab a drink and a bite.

Parkway is a little overpriced but the poboys are top 3, if not 1st.

1. Nice steakhouse

You can get a good steak almost anywhere - might as well try a place thats true New Orleans like Commanders Palace, August, Arnauds, or Galatoires.
