Why do liberals always demand more strict gun laws on the one hand but on the other hand then refuse to actually enforce said gun laws once passed?

In their utopia, no one has guns and no one is in jail.

Everyone willing follows along with not having any guns.

When real life hits... it puts them in a pickle.

So here... we see their solution. Take the gun away, but don't put the person in jail.

Makes total sense... to them.

Didn’t they do the same thing with Malik Nabors a couple weeks ago. He got released on conditions he would give up his gun?

He was part of that same caseload for that day, dismissed by Maw.

Which is retarded.

I'm fine with no one being in jail as long as I can shoot criminals when its deserved. You can have one or the other.

If progressives want less firearms, they'll need to embrace mass incarceration again.

No shite, but the actual transcript is new and has illustrated some very disturbing facts surrounding it.

The transcripts are in, so why is she not out? I'm amazed she is still a paid employee. It shouldn't take this long, under these circumstances, to terminate her.

Because the DA endorses this nonsense. In a rational society the citizens would run these kooks out of town on a rail, but unfortunately most people that oppose this have jobs/families and that takes precedence. Pretty much the same reason why most politicians get away with murder, they know they’ll never be held accountable.

Old days the DA and magistrate would have had crimes done against them.

The officers responding to the call would do enough to act like they are doing their job, but not enough to do anything.

When the tables turn on liberals they want change.

Emily Maw in the transcript said, “A machine gun is a pretty serious weapon. I just want to make sure, Mr. Manghave is from Tennessee. Is that right?” The defendant says, “Yes, Ma’am.” Maw says, “Is he planning to go back to Tennessee?” The Public Defender says, “yes”. Maw says, “Okay. So as long as you’re okay going back without the machine gun, then we’ll refuse the charges.”

Meanwhile the ATF has declared pistol braces with an estimated number of owners of at least 3- 10 million people as unlawfully possessing a short barreled rifle and given an amnesty period to register or face jail time.

Strange indeed.

Legal gun owners aren't the demographic Progressives are trying to get out of the prisons. So they'll create new inmates to replace the ones they want out.
