that just says a suspect is being cuffed... if he went whole hog he would use the SOB's name... so he doesn't know if it's him or not

Correct.

Could be a completely unrelated incident.

Nothing new. Been checking Twitter and watching the news.

This dude is playing a tremendous game of hide and seek.

That is a dangerous animal on the loose. I hope they catch him soon before he hurts someone else.

I'm an officer safety instructor. It's my job to make officers safe when they do their jobs. The most dangerous thing an officer can ever do is to under react to a threat. It gets you killed.

Seems like the media are forcing officers to under react. You agree?

I'd want to take out a life insurance policy on Travis Boys. Is that possible?

Per Nola.com it sounds like they hit some of his associates homes and came up on them doing some dirt.

I hate to see anything like that happen. Do these people ever elude the police for good?

I'm sure they are going to make it well known in the hood that if you decide to try to run we will hassle everyone you've ever known and put as many of them in jail as possible as a result of you trying to get away.... Just another way to get guys to think twice. Not just ruining your own life but bringing down everybody.

Who remembers what happened to Adolf Archie in 1990?

NEW ORLEANS (AP) _ Adolph Archie died, messily, after 13 hours in the custody of police who arrested him for the fatal shooting of a police officer. He had a cracked skull, a crushed larynx, a shattered face and too many bloody bruises to count, according to the autopsy his family commissioned.

The Poelease busted him up

I would agree that a LOT of officers are not reacting to situaions correctly because they don't want to be the next one on the national news and we are seeing the effects of that with more officers being hurt and killed. I want to live, just like every one else, so I will do what is needed to try and stay that way as long as possible.

A lot of officers are also just saying screw it and sitting in their cars waiting on calls instead of looking for the criminals. Crime will go up, because criminals will take advantage of this.

I know quite a few cops and none of them look for criminals unless the crime has taken place. Of course there are special people they keep an eye out for. They have a quota of tickets to write up per month. They collect extra taxes for their city government. That's the number one job of a cop. And honestly they all hate that it is that way.
