My only issue with this whole deal is if they weren't taking care of the horse crap. Other than that, it is New Orleans and you gotta expect to see some stuff.
I was in a bar on Poydras near the Dome one time during Mardi Gras and some drunk dude hijacked a NOPD horse that was tied up outside and tried to ride it into the bar. The Mounted Cops almost beat that guy to death in front of a cheering crowd. This was obviously before body cams and cell phone video. Would have made national news today.

Yes that’s the place. Skinny stairwell, pool tables on 2nd floor. Many HS nights spent there getting absolutely hammered. Great times
