New Orleans has a rich history. It brings to mind the confedarcy, slavery, picking and selling cotton. Everywhere in the city there are antebellum mansions with slave quarters in the back.
I think it's time to change the name of the city to something that is more inclusive to everyone!

Why does it bring to mind the Confederacy? As a giant embarrassment? The North took NOLA during the first year of the war, essentially without a fight. Jeff Davis and RE Lee made absolutely no credible effort to retake one of the South's most important strategic locales. New Orleans whores killed more Union soldiers in the city than the Traitorous Army did....
