Jeff Davis and RE Lee made absolutely no credible effort to retake one of the South's most important strategic locales.
-----RE Lee had nothing whatsoever to do with decision- making strategy for the Western theater of war.

How about St Gabriel? There aren't any cities with that anme in Louisiana are there? It's pretty bland and tasteless.
