Which is not entirely, but you know that already.

and it's irrelevant. we're only talking about smoking inside of bars. smoking outside of bars has nothing to do with this discussion

I'm indeifferent, but I know when I go to Harrah's, I have to leave my clothes in the laundry room because they stink so bad from smoke.
I can deal with it there, I hate bringing it back. That said, I think the business should be able to decide.

ok yeah...I'm sure some I would agree with, especially when it comes to minors

but I will never agree with laws that restrict legal activities in private businesses

why are people so dumb that can't understand laws like this are an erosion of liberty?

prior to the smoking ban here, many bars advertised to the non-smoking crowd. those shop owners lost their competitive edge. ironically the anti smoking laws put a few of them out of business.

self-righteous people are gonna be self-righteous I guess.

It's not itrleveant. Smokers can still easily smoke. Even without leaving the premise of the establishment they're at.

I don't think they are dumb to it

they just don't want to admit that they are massive hypocrites

For all of you whining and bitching that you'll take your business elsewhere - you won't. You'll push your fat arse out of your seats and step outside to smoke, which isn't that big of an ordeal anyway. Your laziness fuels your addiction and there's no way you'll drive an extra hour to go to a bar or casino when there's one right across the street.

I get it. The sky is falling. Rabble rabble gubermint tellin me how to live my life rabble rabble. At least all of us will be able to fricking breathe in a bar while said sky is falling.

this really has nothing to do with smokers

this has do to with the rights of the owner of the business

its that simple

I wish Harrahs had a smoke free area. The only place in the state I know that does is Coushatta and you have to walk for 15 min through the fog to get to it.

I would love for another place to open up and have that option as well but they have a legalized monopoly.

Smokers are self righteous for thinking they can smoke wherever they want.

Why do people start smoking anyway? Besides trying to fit in and be cool

because it's only an erosion of liberty to most people if the law infringes on something they like/support

if the law bans something they don't like, they love it. like i said, just like southern baptists

we have at least 1 major non-smoking bar. has done really well and continues to do so.
