These "New Orleans is done" posts are such a huge pile of happy horseshite.

Unlike 99.999999% of the OT, I actually live in the Quarter. The beating the other day was bad, but shite like that's been happening forever.

The biggest problem we have is too many tourists. In pre-AirBnB days, the number of hotel rooms capped the number of visitors at any one time. Now, it's the-more-the-merrier.

All the anti-New Orleans bullshite as a symptom of lingering snowflake butthurt over the removal of the Monuments to the Lost Cause.

Instead of spreading fertilizer, next time try some of this:

In a city that's number one industry is TOURISM.

Yeah frick the people who bring money into our city, we should be catering to the thugs that drive them out and bring nothing productive to our city.

fricking dumbass.

And let me guess, you're one of those transplant "locals" that moved here a couple of years ago but think you know everything about the city?

Eta: there's one now right above me

I really thought that cops would start cracking down on those things after the fatal crash a month or two back. I guess I actually overestimated New Orleans on that matter, which is tough to do.

Eventually, some a-hole doing a wheely is going to lose control of an ATV and take out a pedestrian or two. MAYBE that will finally get the cops to do something.

let me guess, youre one of those poorly educated, overweight, longtime locals who still believe we should have separate drinking fountains and bathrooms?

Haha, you guys are the gift that keeps on giving. Yeah, the main problem with New Orleans is tourism. Not the massive segment of the population that sees crime as a way of life.

i hope this is sarcasm, because it is truly beyond delusional

without tourism, NOLA will crumble

we need to embrace it moreso than any other city in the country

When have I ever complained about that? I love it actually.

I have no problem with people moving here, it's just when y'all act all high and mighty like you know everything about the city and mock others. Like you've done in this thread and others.
