When Dems are doing it because of the one DHS department that’s not actually affected by their DHS shutdown as it’s fully funded for a couple of years, when this lack of DHS funding except for ICE is exactly what the Dems requested to be left out of the funding compromise to avoid them pushing a full shutdown a second time under Trump back in February, when Dems got a scaled down ICE enforcement and new leadership in Minnesota, when the DHS head is being replaced including an interim director currently, and when the Dems continue to act in bad faith in negotiations over funding the rest of DHS besides ICE it’s not really a 2 sided problem or 2 sides playing chicken unless it’s Dem versus citizens/legal voters.
Dems are once again putting illegals ahead of citizens which is just continuing their actions in blue states and cities for the past several years.
This situation is exactly what the Dems asked for.
Also, once they get feedback on the implementation of ICE helping at several airports across the country that started today you will likely see a larger rollout that week or at least for the extended weekend around Easter.

I have both and it's very convenient. You go to the front of the front of the line.

So if I sign up for Clear today, I get 2 months free and I can walk past the 2 hour TSA line? Yeah, that's going to frick up Clear for the next 2 months for sure.
My wife just told me that Clear is not accepting applications now. Don’t know what her source was.

I travel a lot and to a lot of different places. I have Clear, Global Entry and Pre-Check Digital. Sometimes Pre-Check is a five minute wait and Clear is well, clear. Sometimes it’s the other way around.

The Dems have to put illegals ahead of citizens. Without them their rampant fraud, both election and welfare, would come to an end. And without that rampant fraud, the Democrat Party would likewise come to an end.

I’m far from moderate.
The upcoming holiday rush is 1,000,000% playing into all of this.

bullshite! Ever since continuing resolutions started being used regularly the party that refused to approve a clean continuing resolution was considered the party that “shutdown the government”. When it was the Republicans, you and your media blowbuddies had no trouble saying that the Republicans shut down the government. Now it is the democrats doing it.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Senator how about just helping TSA, travelers, and the rest of DHS besides ICE by refusing to filibuster funding for them like you and Dems have been doing.
Only one side has done anything to reach across the aisle or trying to do whatever is possible to help its citizens including pull other federal officers to help. Trump changed Minnesota tactics and leadership, offered wearing IDs with names, cams on all, more updates and transparency to Congress, plus other stuff, and has now even used ICE officers to help at airports which secondarily gives the Dems’ favorite residents - illegals - a temporary break.
But the above tweets are the kind of crap Dems push out to the public.

ICE taking over different security functions while the TSA agents showing up to work focused on screening seems to have helped in Atlanta and got average wait times to under 40 minutes. Some were supposed to show up to the New Orleans airport. Did any improvement get reported by the early afternoon there?

Should’ve had Clear + PreCheck.

I am due to fly out at 6 am on Wednesday. I plan I getting there at 3:30 and I have clear. How fricked am I?

Friend who works at MSY showed a picture of long lines at 3:00 AM when she showed up for work of long lines. When she left work at noon she posted again and the lines were gone and wait time was down to 20 minutes she said.

I posted this in one of these threads and have seen people admit to doing it...people on late morning or afternoon flights are getting there at 3-4 am when TSA opens and are clogging the line for people who are actually flying early, then the lines are much less or empty later in the day. It's ludicrous.
It's the same clowns who clog the entryway for planes while being in the last boarding group.

80 minutes this AM. 3:45-5:05.
ICE was helping.

I flew out 3 times this month and have never waited longer than 5 minutes for TSA. I did, however, wait 45 minutes to drop my bag off at Southwest.
Post is useless without location

I was through pre-check in less than 5 minutes at 5:45am this morning.
Standard TSA looked like it could have been maybe 45min or less. Wasn’t bad.
I typically fly out every other Tuesday and it didn’t seem much different outside the little longer standard TSA line.
