Well lakeview to start is pretty damn safe. I live in metry and feel safe as shite in my neighborhood.

Charleston is the best of those three by far.

I'm not ignoring the stats you dumb frick. I grew up in lakeview and it's been the safest place in nola consistently. Do you even know where lakeview is? You've probly seen bourbon street all 3 of your times while sipping your hand grenade. Gtfo with your "experience"

It seems NOLA of the the late 90's early 2k (pre-katrina) was better than it is now.

Ha. You can look at my post history. I shite on nola all the time. It's becoming scary. I'm always the first to admit that. But when some douche like you who claims to have been there 3 times ever (and we all know you didn't leave downtown) and not know what the frick you're talking about except for what the tv tells you, then there's no point to try to reason.
