New Normal: Everything Is Racist

Walk in to LeBlanc's in Zachary to order a burger. There is a black lady standing in front of me with her food in front of her and a girl adding stuff to this order. A girl walks out the back and asks me if she can take my order and as I begin to order the lady next to me said she was there 1st. The girl and I both explain to the lady that we thought the order directly in front of her was hers and that we were sorry. She stormed out mad. Then another black lady who was sitting down near by at the time gets a manager and tells her the girl needs to make sure she knows who is next in line. It was absolutely ridiculous.

The lady was black, felt slighted because of her color. It was obvious. The lady sitting down was black and also felt like the lady was passed over because of her color. Once again, it was obvious.

For some it's all they have to claim. Similar to people who feel they are better than others for some shallow reason or another, they waive around the racism flag because it alleviates their own inadequacies or insecurities.

I agree.
I go to this BR pharmacist about once every 3-4 month. Well a while back the young black woman had braces. I go back about a month ago and who I thought was the same tall, slender, beautiful young woman didn't have braces on and perfect teeth. I said "hey you got your braces off, looks great". This lady instantly gets defensive. She says "I know who you're talking about and it's not me. She doesn't work here anymore. But what you just said is like me saying all white guys look like you". frick if I know. I couldn't tell most blonde 20 something girls apart either. But this bitch instantly goes to race.
I'm proud of myself. I politely say "look that wasn't my intention. The last lady was about your height, slender and about the same age.". She agreed. I told her I was doing business elsewhere going forward and walked out.

Unfortunately, if she's the type to treat customers like that, she probably didn't care. Should have complained to her manager.
