Social media is responsible for almost everything wrong with modern society. The MSM sees what is trending inside these vacuous little echo chambers and believe that is the way the majority of people think, and since most of them are in the demographic that advertisers have historically courted the most, they tailor their message accordingly. When in reality they are listening to a select group of very loud morons who up until 12 years ago were thankfully unheard from and rightfully ignored as lunatics.

The oddity of social media to me is it's acceptable if you "win" the so called meme war. It's a constant here or at least on the PT. Sure, they loathe social media but love Twitter and all that comes with it. Quite the dichotomy.
