I don't like Alec Baldwin, but a lot of you guys are jumping on this because you're mad at him for playing Trump on SNL. Grow up.

That said, the Assistant director who handed him the gun needs to be charged with something, but ultimately, the guy who pulled the trigger is guilty. He's negligent for not checking the gun himself.

This is really confusing.

So your angst is ok. Everyone elses is not ok.

The OT.

Uh that’s exactly what we are bashing the liberal shite eater for.

He did not utilize basic gun safety. He committed negligent homicide and should be arrested and put in jail.

I would have been. You would have been.

Advocating for common gun safety makes gun supporters look bad?

These people are the masters of spin. Mark my words. The next thing will be "Guns are so dangerous they even kill despite us being on a movie set with safety standards in place. No one should be allowed to have a gun!"

I don’t care at all about this whole fiasco but this is a fricking great sentence

That's exactly what you said and most people I see are hammering Alec for his lack of practicing common gun safety.

Well they are actors, so not known for intelligence, but anyone handed any kind of gun should check it themselves for ammunition before raising to from the ground. Common sense.

Reports are out Clint Eastwood does. There is a video of Will Smith doing it at a prop table from Bad Boys 3. I am sure there are more.

How does the deceased woman’s family not already have a lawsuit filed?

They’re about to clean up $$$$$

She and her husband were flaming liberals. The husband also has ties to the Clintons. I am sure he is being asked to protect Alec.

Video is doctored. He DID slap the guys hand down as he lifted the gun towards people and tell him no.

The grab the gun, check the mag and racking the slide was added after to highlight the gun safety.

Baldwin is the exec producer of this picture. There was reportedly an overall lack of safety on set, and he as the head honcho must bear the blame.

That’s the way it would be for any one of us.

That's your take...

Many on here don't like him because he's a hypocritical Hollywood elitist.

Thinks he knows what's best for everyone, but in real life he's a complete a-hole...

I don't give a frick what he did on SNL...

He's a member of an elite DC legal firm. He's as deep in the mire of America as you can get.

These people are in the same cult.

Yes I know. I posted the video showing it was doctored a few times but he was still practicing gun safety is my point.

Don't agree with that. I had a rifle fire from pressure on the safety because a screw had worked loose in the trigger assembly. It isn't the case here but it certainly can happen.

That probably hurts more than it helps.

It shows that he was carless/negligent in this instance if he knowingly handled the prop guns safely in the past.

Why would anyone think it’s ok to pull a trigger of a real gun while pointing it at someone? Doesn’t matter where this is located or what industry, you don’t pull a trigger of a gun without personal responsibility.

As said, if this is truly where hollywood digs in (which is outrageous) then hollywood needs to design prop guns that are not in fact real guns.
