$245 just for that bar? Rogue is the Yeti of the weight lifting world.
rogue is literly cheaper than almost every other commercial equipment supplier. But here come the poors complaining about the price. Go check out power-lift, sorinex, arsenal, rae crowthers, hammer strength, rogers athletic, atlantiz, elitefts, panatta, etc and compare. Hell compare them and the specs to the other crossfit companies.
But continue to buy your $100 dollar bar and wonder why it falls apart.
BTW I am anything but a rogue fan boy, but a spade is a spade

I've been interested in these for awhile. Worth the $250?

It's more that I'm skeptical of any practical strength benefits for an average lifter. However, if it keeps you engaged then have at it.

you got a home setup? definitely worth my gym paying for it but still in all, this bar is so versitile, that i'd say its still worth the price for a home investment. Check out Mutt bars too on rogue's website, supposedly on way to my gym too but seem versatile as well.

Is it effective in the squat rack though?

so its only beneficial for elite lifters? if it's hitting some muscle fibers in different ways and keeping your muscle groups on their toes, than i think that is a direct benefit for any lifter.

yep ideal for overhead shoulder presses in the curl rack too.

No home setup anymore but if my gym won't pay for one I might just buy it to us there.

Yeah people have no idea how much quality commercial gym equipment costs.

MY personal trainer suggested some grip changes on my curls, holy frick, I couldn't move my arms the next day.
Is that what you're calling it?

Exactly, I see people on facebook calling out rogue all the time. Its like have you priced out other commercial equipment?
Hell I use smaller mom and pop shops that do custom jobs and they are just as expensive for commercial quality and they have no overhead. People have no concept of cost of metal and fabrication.

This is like the thing you hung over your neck to help your curl form.
Posted on 2/1/17 at 2:58 pm to Chad504boy
I just can't wrap my head around why you need that.

Have you tried deadlifting with it? Doesn't look like it was made for it.
