Iced tea, even with Splenda is far healthier than any carbonated soft drink.

I don't like them for many reasons, but the biggest is the fact that flavored drinks like Cherry Coke are not actually dispensed from the machine. It is just regular Coke with their version of cherry flavoring added in. Nowhere near as good as an original Cherry Coke.
And also, every machine seems to have the syrup/carbonate ratio way off.

The problem is that unlike a traditional fountain, only one person can use it at a time....and they have to select menus and different options.
It takes longer to get drinks in crowded restaurants with these things.

What about the zero calorie soft drinks? There is one shredded poster here who says he drinks one every day.

When selecting your drink push the button without your drink under there and let it run a bit. It will clear old selection out.

I let them run a little prior to filling my cup. Yes it is a waste of drink but not is better than the Coke, Dr Pepper, Sprite, lemon aid, contraption that comes out the damn machine.

I don't have any problem with the machines, but I don't drink carbonated soft drinks, either. I always get some variety of Powerade.
