What does “loaded Camry” mean? Comes with a bike rack and extra pride stickers?

Both are quality cars obviously. 2015 and 2016 Lexus GS’s are THE highest rated used cars on the market.

I know from research.

Why compare a GS to a Camry? GS is rear wheel drive and Camry/Lexus Es is front wheel drive.

I would buy a 2016 ES for 25-27k. Drive it for 8 plus years.

A GS is great, but If you have kids, realize that the rear seats have a lot less room than the ES.

Camry. Cars have enough bells and whistles now that it would do pretty much anything I want. Toyota’s are extremely reliable. Lexus are nice, but not worth the money to me.

40k is a pretty hearty amount of miles.

Don't take any advice from this guy.

Would you prefer a new, loaded Camry or a three-year-old Lexus GS 300 with 40k miles?

GS350, maybe?

The GS. It's an incredible car for the money. And still Japanese made (that's a good thing - the ES350s are all essentially American-made, premium/Lexus trim Avalons now).

Loaded Camry is 32-33K after negotiating?

Depends on what kind of mileage you do? If low mileage, then maybe consider the Lexus.

12-15K? I'd go camry.

Ehhh, I’ve owned a 2007 Camry and an 2000 Accord.

The Accord was by far better in terms of maintenance and build quality.

Camry needed new AC compressor, front wheel bearings, and fuel pump over 100k miles.

Accord needed a battery over 150k miles. Much quieter ride as well

I think Honda's reliability is on the decline.

These small engine turbos might be a contributing factor.
