Dumbass drivers in this state will turn that into a clusterfrick.

Yeah people can't drive in Lafayette as it is .. that would really screw some people in the head!

Why on Earth would that even be considered right there? That's not NEARLY the busiest intersection in town. Not to mention, I'd have to think that they would have to completely destroy quite a few businesses near that intersection to build that nightmare. Seems like something like that would be better suited for Johnston @ Ambassador.
Oh...and the last thing Lafayette drivers need is something that requires more driving skills to master. Yikes...

if they would just fix the ambassador extinction all problem would go away.

Wouldn't you think ANYTHING would have to be an improvement for Johnston?

I am going to quote this so we will have it forever
and FYI it is the same design as Siegen at Airline Hwy in baton rouge so it isnt that bad in reality

Their is no way in hell that beast gets built in that area. It would require the city to destroy many businesses in that area to get it built and possibly a church. You don't do that without a fight.

isn't this the same set-up they put at Siegen and Airline Hwy?

Supa, I like the design. Traffic is meant to FLOW, not jam up with in/out access to 50 businesses, Circle K, etc, all near the intersection.
True, I don't see how that thing would get built there now. There is a whole lot less room at Johnston/Camelia than Airline/Seigen. It's hard to retrofit a city (esp Lafayette) with new infrastructure.
