What’s up, baw

I have some land I’m trying to build on. This shite is pissing me off. I’m battling the idea of fighting the rising interest rates or paying more than I should on a a new construction

Absolutely pisses me off

How many people think they’re buying brand new construction, and it’s gonna be a complete piece of shite? I’m only aware of these garbage companies from this site.

I think DR Horton would be pretty widely known as a junky homebuilder, no?

They're a mass market middle class homebuilder. They're the Alexander Shunnarah/Morgan and Morgan of builders.

No, we are moving back to BR. I retired from the Army last year and the wife wants to move back near her parents. We have never had a new home and want a new construction home.

Whoever you use, be prepared to pay around $200 per square foot or probably more.

I am spending on me lol. After 25 years of penny pinching and deployments, I am ready to have something of my own. We normally lived on Base-housing or leased houses.

DSLD is okay if you want a standard house in a subdivision.

Horton is going to push a lot of sub-prime mortgages to fill their shitty houses. So your neighbors might suck.

Wow that is awful. I was prepared to go $150 per square foot but not $200.

I guess that is why my wife brought up Horton and DSLD. Thank yall for popping my bubble.

good stuff, TYFYS. as has already been mentioned, Tayler Braud is a good homebuilder around here. Steer well clear of Alvarez and DR Horton.

I bought an Alvarez house. I know they are not the best builder or most top of line company but for the price we have not had many issues. Our biggest expense in 6 years has been to replace the kitchen faucet and the crappy plastic valves they use to connect the water to the toilets. That was all in the last 7 months.
