Blueprint for Armageddon. Start there.

That's what I'd tell him to start with. Best podcast I've ever heard

Agreed, I just finished it for the 4th time a few days ago. I like Carlin enough that I bought all of his Hardcore History podcasts that aren't free. He definitely has gotten better as he's gone on, the really early ones are not in the same class as the later ones which isn't a surprise I guess.

His Common Sense podcasts are interesting too, especially to go back and listen as this election cycle progressed.

Second vote for WOTK as the GOAT.

Ghosts of the Ostfront is also incredible. The scale of carnage on that one is almost tough to comprehend.

I know he'll never do it, but I wish he'd look into the Pacific front in WWII. He seems like a pure army guy so I feel like the naval component would be out of his league, but damn his sort of insight into the intricacies of the Pacific campaign would be incredible.

You don't have to listen to it all in one sitting. It's well done. I usually take a few days to listen to one of his podcasts.

Is Blueprint for Armageddon all about WWI or does it span into WWII?

Your loss. You don't have to listen to it continuously. The WWI series is 6 episodes at roughly 3 hours each so around 18 hours total. And I wish it were at least double that lenght. There is a LOT that he wasn't able to get into that would have been very interesting.

Yes it does not span into WWII, but he does talk about how it helped to set up WWII, and he also has quotes from Hitler about his views on WWI. And how WWI tactics evolved until they became pretty similar to what was seen in WWII.

Hell yes! Just went back and bought all the old stuff he did that you paid for. Was running low and starting to get nervous.

Is it just like a nonfiction documentary? I'm interested but really don't know much about who this guy is or what his podcasts are about

That what I did after hearing about this podcast from the OT.

I Just jumped right in!

*I would also like to recommend the podcast called Snap Judgement.
I think many of y'all will like it too.
