If this heap ever manages to clear the pad, I give it about a 50-50 chance of making it to orbit.

Another hold?

frick it. I'm out. SpaceX launches have me spoiled. I'll read the news later to see how it went. Keep us posted, Blue Origin enthusiasts.

This isn’t like a SpaceX launch where failure is an opportunity because this has a real NASA payload on it.
So it looks funny with the crowd cheering at all. Because if it explodes, it’s a gigantic failure. At SpaceX they cheer when it explodes.

I'm more of an Elon guy but it's good to see some competition. If for anything, if it merely keeps SpaceX hungry and somewhat motivated, it's well worth it.

Same. By this time next year you could have 3 companies with reusable orbital rockets (Rocket Lab as well). My guess is Rocket Lab may eventually exceed Blue Origin’s launch cadence in this class, although New Glenn has greater lift capability.

The YouTube channel I’m watching was showing a camera on the barge so I’d think so

SpaceX now officially has competition.
Granted, SpaceX does this very feat multiple times a week.

I know we're a little spoiled since SpaceX does this shite 2-3 times a week, but this is a great thing for everybody. Humanity ultimately benefits anytime Elon gets flustered... And this is likely sure to get him fired up.

The cheers and the video calling out MECO, etc though is a blatant SpaceX ripoff and that's kind of sad. They've already done this. Instead of just copying them, do something better than them.

Wait - the landing barge is called "Never Tell Me The Odds"? Similar to SpaceX's "Just Read the Instructions", "Of Course I Still Love You" and "A Shortfall of Gravitas".

Everything about this feels ripped off. This woman yammering on... the crowds and the enthusiasm, the clapping... it seems pretty forced and disingenuous.

Do something new. We've all seen this.
