My wife is Gen X, she doesn't have a phobia about re-fueling her car, she's just too lazy and can't be bothered to do so. I'm constantly telling her to fill it up at a quarter of a tank so the dirt in the bottom doesn't get into the engine, but she lets that shite run down till the low fuel indicator light comes on.

She ran out of gas once and called her sister to come to her rescue because she knew I would be pissed.

Outside of concerns over sky-high fuel prices, young drivers reported fears over parking close enough to the pump, identifying the correct type of fuel, or competently operating the petrol nozzle. Researchers said the stem of the worries related to fear of making a mistake in public.

Jesus Christ, there's some soft individuals in England.... I'm assuming this is in England because they're referring to it as a petrol station.

I blame New Jersey.

But, they should move there. It will help with their refueling anxiety.

Wtf… my 8 year old can gas up the car by himself and loves doing it.

Dads aren’t doing their job apparently.

Gen zers, try on $3.90 gas when you were in car seats then come talk to me about anxiety or “sky high prices”

Well, yeah. Is there a better smell to a kid than gas and WD-40?

This is in the UK. They’re currently paying about $6.85/gallon

I will prreface saying that it was a TikTok video but they were asking folks on the street if Englan/GB should send troops into Ukraine and the answers were a resounding "Yes!" The follow-up question of would you sign up and go over to Ukraine was the opposite, twas interesting.

Pretty typical for liberals when it comes to war and charity. They love the thought of it but always put the responsibility on someone else.

Oh, there's others. many take weeks to get over the anxiety of even thinking about making a doctor's appointment. And not over the appointment-over making the call.

I'm not going to lie: there's a LOT of places in this country where I don't want to stop for gas. I have definitely cut things a little close, running on fumes, to avoid stopping to get gas in New Orleans East and similarly lawless places, especially at night.

I get a lot of anxiety making doctors appointments. I don't really have a set Primary Care doctor, and I have had a lot of different insurances over the year. It can be a real pain to figure out which doctors with which specialties are in network and then try to figure out which one to schedule, all with extremely opaque and inconsistent pricing. I hate scheduling doctors appointments for that reason.

To make a logarithmic larger public mistake.
