Did it specify the engine?

It didn't but I didn't read the original article on CR. I believe that is a subscription site. That was just a summary of the article.

I traded in a Ram in October. 9 yrs 135k and the only non routine maintenance I had was replacing an O2 sensor. I have zero brand loyalty. I've had a Sierra, 2 Rams and a F150.

Perfect reason to have a manual transmission and you could roll start the thing.

Here's a list of all the new 2018 half ton full size trucks with manual transmissions:

Which one do you recommend?

Consumer Reports just listed the F150 in its "2018 vehicles most likely to go over 200k miles". It's the only truck on the list and the only vehicle not a Honda or Toyota.

They just left out the "on a flatbed" part.

I ran 3 F-150's to 120,000 miles no problems

Ive now gotta Tundra, 110,000 miles

To me, Tundra is a much more soundly built truck with many more features

I will never own a GMC or Dodge

Anybody remember it?

Something about poor people thinking they be driving a Cadillac.

no clue how to do either of those things. My only guess on a roll start would be put in neutral and push, lol. I was born in 1992, btw, so i am def a millennial.
