Could it destroy plaque buildup in the veins? Or just preventative?

Good question. I take repatha and the doc told me there is evidence that it does this but didn't know the extent. Repatha really changed my life. I was having stents about every 12 months and hadn't had one in 6 years now. Diet changes helped zero.

side effects down the road will be?
Ever seen a pharma commercial?
It takes about 4 minutes for them to read the side effects normally.

Aren't we finding out now about severe intestinal blockage and hair loss from Semiglutides?
intestinal blockage has been a known side effect and only affects about 0.01% of people
hair loss is from people going on too severe of a deficit and not getting the vitamins they need, that is on them
glps are just naturally occurring hormones that we are taking more of but they have been out for over a decade, actually around 2 and studied for over 3 so we know most of the info on it
as far drug in the OP, sounds promising but i will wait and see on it. Alot of people are going to be skeptical which i understand but there are also about to be a lot of advances in pharma due to AI. huge leap forward in medicine and health in general
with all that said, the best thing 99% of people can do minimally is:
1) eat a protein based diet limiting processed foods
2) lift weights progressively 2-3x per week
3) get 8k steps per day
4) get some type of zone 2 cardio(think light jog) for 60min total a week
5) 6 hours sleep per night(8 is much much better)
6) get 30 min or so of sunlight daily
do those things consistently for a decade plus and you will be ahead of 99% of others then advances in medicine can prolong your life but you can put off taking them as long as possible.

Yep. Generally speaking, LDL is a necessary but insufficient condition for atherosclerotic events.
I’d like to see what Tom Daysrping says about the latest wonder drug. He is very balanced when it comes to interventions. And knows his shite better than anyone I’ve seen (not that I would know any different, but he has the credentials and wide credibility in the medical community. Can’t be accused of quackery).

You have to clean up your diet and move more. There is no magic trick to it. Stop eating so much processed foods and sugar.
Some people are genetically predisposed to high cholesterol, so diet and exercise isn't the magic pill either.

Has to have some wild side effects.
That cholesterol has to go somewhere. Prepare your anus.
