I don't see why not. Looks nice.

Yeah I can't think of anything better than to tour a museum that says my ancestors were all evil and my privilege is the biggest problem in America.

I'd have to have a reason to go to Jackson, MS first

Only the OT could argue that the civil Rights movement was a bad thing.

I wonder if they have one of those tunnels that yells racial slurs at you like the museum of tolerance on South Park?
Only way I'd go

The responses in this thread sum up TigerDroppings perfectly.

You're an idiot. Every school aged kid in the city has been at least once since they've built it. I've been multiple times with my kids. I need to go to the Negro League baseball museum. I haven't been there yet.

So you've already visited?
Forget slavery. I'll just concede the point that blacks were considered inferior and could not exist without the guiding hand of their masters, although completely contrary to the fact that there were free men of color who were successful business men during the same time period. But do you honestly believe that the Civil Rights Act wasn't necessary and that blacks were being treated equally during the Jim Crow Era? Please tell me you're not that ignorant and uninformed.

My gf’s brother works for the department of archives and we got to take a sneak peak tour a couple weeks ago and I was blown away.
I love history so the MS history section was really cool and I spent hours in there. There’s a lot of cool civil war and early 1800’s artifacts in there
The civil rights museum still needed a good bit of work done so I didn’t get the full experience but it looked to be well done also.
If you are into history and museums I highly recommend it. Surprisingly well done by the city of Jackson
