You need to calm down.

It's unfathomable, it being the festive season and what not. Borderline reprehensible.

Thanks for all the input - I'm surprised that everyone here is so negative on those car brands!
I don't care about getting 15 years or maintenance costs. It is a company car, so I get it for 3 years and maintenance is covered. As for the third row - we have 3 kids and do a lot of road trips. So we often throw two kids in the third row - so a small area works fine for them.
But sounds like reviews are mixed. Most folks said buy an asian car... I have seen literally zero asian cars in my company lot, so not sure why that is so (probably just German pride).

My choice would be the Audi Q7.

I’m on my second X5. My wife owns a Lexus RX 350. No comparison. X5 if driving is your thing. RX is more comfortable for shorter distances. I find the stiff BMW seats more comfortable for 100+ mile trips. I don’t get the X5 hate. I’ve never had significant issues with either car.

Toyota 4Runner. Cheaper and better. You don’t have to pay an extra $10,000 just for the emblem

Don't have the Multi-contour comfort seats? Hear those are some of the best seats out there.

GLS with designo seats.

Wife loves her XC60. They're really nice inside.
I'd think a T6 is mandatory in the bigger one.

go with whatever has the biggest engine, these SUV's that use a turbo small liter engine with a hundred transmission gears suck. I had the feeling of the motor never revving up. I drove a Volvo and it was that way always searching for gears.

I’m moving to Europe and debating on buying wife the XC90 or a Nissan X-trail. Both seem pretty nice but Nissan a bit cheaper of course.

You have to put the Volvo in 'dynamic' mode for it to shift right, and not shut off at every stop.

You've done a good job narrowing it down - I would rank them
1) Q7
Close 2nd) Volvo
Distant 3rd) BMW
The new Q7, especially with the optional air suspension rides like a cloud, in a good way. Plus it feels like the future inside. Plenty of room for kids on the 3rd row.
The XC90 is plenty good. I drove one back-to-back with a new Range Rover and was much more impressed - regardless of price - with the Volvo.

Volvo owned by Geely - a Chinese Manufacturer.
BMW X5 - built in Spartanburg, SC by BMW
Audi Q7 - owned by VW built in Slovakia.
Personally, I am a BMW fan having owned 15 or more. Over the past 25 years I have never been towed or left stranded due to a problem. BMW warranty which includes all maintenance for 4 years or 50K is the best in the industry.
If the 3rd seat is important- I don’t feel any of these vehicles will meet your needs. The Yukon XL or Chevy Suburban would be better choices for 3rd seats.
