It’s really sad how ghetto mid city is. They have to eat out of abandoned sea cans

Appreciate it bro! Yes very Hood Rat BR rendition. Not the $10B investment into Tampa's resurgence

We did some work on this project...Drew Brees has ownership in this one.

I think it might be a couple of blocks too far north for the hipsters.

That’s their own fault. Smalls is solid.

Agreed. it's interesting to see some of the Governement street rebirth now spreading to Florida St
I think your proclamation may be a bit premature... Remember, bridge center is also moving in to that very same area

Can’t speak for hipsters, but millennials seem to be able to find the Chicken Shack just fine.

I will make it a point to check it out.

Man oh man that is going to be one toasty tin can in mid-July and that "bathroom" is going to smell nice and ripe

I wish him luck, but re-purposed shipping containers are difficult and expensive to execute. They look good on paper and have a colorful feel-good eco vibe. In reality most sent for repurpose have spent years in salt spray, requiring extensive modifications to build AND maintain. The OT knows how expensive welders are.

Check out
Pop Brixton . It's the artsy side of London. Very school hangout spot with only these shipping containers

There’s a cool bar in Austin that’s made out of seacans but they are stacked and designed to look like a building
It's aptly named Container Bar. It's downtown on Rainey Street.

Container bar on Rainey.
This idea is like they took that and mixed it with the food truck lot down the street.

This looks more like a FEMA concentration camp than an outdoor food court.

Looks like a shitty knockoff version of the other similar ones posted. Wish an actual developer would take over

Yep, haven't been there in years so wasn't even sure if it was still around.

I'm still not sure who this guy is going to convince to open a location in a seacan in a parking lot. It seems like someone interested in having a "food truck style" location would just have an actual food truck.
opening a restaurant or food truck is already risky enough, I'm sure as shite not going to make my first attempt in an outdoor food court of shippping containers
