That doesn't sound good, but you never know what is going on on the other side, so I wouldn't take it personally. They may have already decided on someone and just took the interview with you as a courtesy. Something major might have popped up there so they needed to get through this quickly and then they will come back to you.
If you were expecting a Q&A, then you obviously have a contact there or are working through a recruiter. I would ask them about it.

Yep.
First contractor job at NASA-JSC. First interviewer asked me how good I was at Thermodynamics and mechanics (I'm a EE, not a ME)....I told him my background...he got up and walked out saying he had no use for me.
Second group left me wondering so I was at a loss. Then the program manager took me and a few of my buddies from McNeese to lunch. I thought, "Oh great, he can't hire me but at least he can feed me!"
Turns out we got back to the office and he had an offer letter waiting on me...I was so happy I accepted on the spot. Bad move on my part...he kept telling me to take it home and read over it...what he was trying to tell me was negotiate the salary...I knew they low balled me when the next year I got an 8% raise. Not a bad little company to work for...but in the government sector the only way to make money is to jump contracts.
That was back in 1997. I've been with NASA as a contractor since then...no breaks in employment.

Did you just interview with me? I literally just got off a phone interview which sounded like yours, no joke.
No offense, we didn't like you for this role. You were a reach to interview and confirmed it quickly. Keep working hard and develop some examples which highlight how you influenced the situation, what your impact was on the situation, -and finally the results of that situation.

Sometimes I have to interview people. The person scheduling it always blocks out 30 minutes, but I have yet to have one go that long. I wouldn't look too deeply into that.

Medium sized public company in the tech field. Sales gig. Too much micro management. I don't need to be told how many outbound calls to make per day or emails to send. Too many quotas. I was just a number on a spreadsheet there.

not an interview but right after college I filled out this application packet for a very well known company high on mushrooms. They mailed it back to me asking to redo some of the parts they couldn't read or were scribbled outside of the boxes. so I did and got the job.

My old boss had a "get to the point" and "I've heard enough" mentality and the interview was short and sweet. It all worked out.
