The affected person's chosen pronoun? I don't know how they/them is used for one person, but there are a lot of things going on in this country that I don't understand.

Sued for what? If they pull a very profitable show then shareholders will sue if the stock goes down. They have an obligation to shareholders as a public company. This will make them more money with the masses than it will cost them from the classes.
