You want to get real petty if he wont move it you could put up a screen just covering where his camera is pointed with a giant laminated picture of George Castanza in his underwear pointed at his property until he moves it.

You wouldn't even see it but he'd have to look at it every time he looked that way.

1. Strategically plant a tree or place a vertical plant to obstruct the view.

2. Just to be a dick in return, I would have an electrician install a big bright spot light with a photocell and point that bitch directly towards the camera.

You’re welcome.

Back in 2023 I was up in Omaha for the LSU National Championship. The overhang above us had a pigeon nest above us. The stadium folks were notified. The folks in front of us were getting $hit on, I told the Dad, I would handle it the next day. He asked if I was bringing a gun. Nope. I went to Walmart, picked up a laser pen. Hit the eyes of the birds, didn’t take long, I gave it to some kids, they couldn’t wait for them to return.

Face a small LED spotlight directly into the lens of the camera 24/7.

All we have is one side of the story and people here are very dramatic.

You neighbor has a right to place surveillance cameras around his property. You opinion is, he can watch you or is watching you, however you have provided no proof this is happening.

If you want privacy, you need to do something to create that privacy. Build a taller fence, trees, screen, something.

If you want to verify he is spying on you, do what others have said with focusing a light. That is illegal technically, so maybe try the IR first.

This camera only looks at my property. He has no excuse of my property being in the background of surveiling his property as it is only looking at the side of my house. It's not looking down an alley between us or anything like that. Fixed completely onto observing my deck and entrance/exit to house.

Ask Mingo for his playlist and then stream it on a loop with only one channel of speaker towards the guys house 24/7/365 at ~ 90 dB.

Anyone deal with this before? Houses are close together, deck is in between houses. Neighbor's camera is intentionally put on our deck just to be a dick. I read conflicting laws regarding surveillance of one's "private area" by another party without their consent. Police don't seem to care...what would the OT do? Play some ghey pron for camera 24/7?

Buy a laser pointer. Mount it so that it is aimed directly at his camera's lens.

Agreed. He is making an argument it is not covering any piece of neighbors property, which would be hard to believe without evidence.

If that is the case, it would be quite simple to hit with a light and not cause light tresspassing, as it would not be covering his house at all.

Why did it, you obviously had a conversation with him on it. It seems if that worked, you should just simply continue doing this. He cannot prevent you from doing whatever on your property, what was his reasoning for being "triggered"

You need to provide all the details if true and not half arse the response.

Get a decent laser and point it directly into the camera. It'll mess up it's sensor after a while.

Do naked pushups and jumping jacks and then call the police and tell them what he has on his video.
