We built a 3 foot high fence at our lake house to stop the neighbor's leaves.

take my yardwork serious. I maintain my yard in a manicured and tidy condition at all times. About once a week, I measure the length of my grass blades to make sure everything is as it should be.

If you’re really doing grass measurements then you probably have a decent blower. Use it.

I'd mind my own business and let him live as he sees fit.

To some, to others, tree debris from your neighbors trees can be very annoying.

Same.

Poking your nose in your neighbors business is a good way to have them poke their nose into yours.

When I was younger we had a neighbor (back yard neighbor) who bitched and moaned that we didn't weedeat the grass along the fence. He threatened to go to code enforcement and report us. So my dad used commercial strength round up and killed the grass along the fence about 2 feet on each side. After that the guy would put the weedeater on our side of the fence and weedeat.

Some of these baws would have a hissy fit here. Lots of folks let their yard go natural, as its a natural setting.

maybe your neighbor knows how much you freak out about your lawn and thinks it is really funny how the leaves blow into your yard. They find it entertaining.

You oughta be beat with a "yardstick". If you like to rake so much, just go rake his yard. He doesn't have to live up to your expectations...oh, wait: you must be a democrat!

This is simple. You like yardwork and are OCD about it. He doesn't care much and probably mows when he feels like it. There are mowing machines that mulch things so fine they cannot blow. If you don't have one get a machine like this and go mow the neighbor's yard for him. He will be happy since he doesn't prioritize that job and probably puts it off. You will be happy and it won't cost you much in the long run.

Or maybe you don't really want an easy solution?

So, it starts with the yard. The poster isn't happy with the way the neighbor keeps up his yard, but where does it go from there? What else will the poster get annoyed with? Does this joker think he can tell someone what to do in their own personal life?

Yep, the poster must be a DEMOCRAP!
